Soma Reflection:

Reflective Coaching for Clarity & Self-Connection.

Soma Reflection is a hands-off, conversation-based practice centered around thoughtful listening, inquiry, body awareness, and reflection.

Sometimes we already know far more than we realize—we simply have difficulty hearing ourselves beneath fear, habit, expectation, self-doubt, or the many voices telling us what we should do.

Rather than giving you answers, Soma Reflection creates space to slow the conversation down, notice what is actually happening, and become more curious about what feels true for you.

I listen closely to the words you use, the places where your thoughts seem to tighten or open, the beliefs beneath what you’re saying, and the ways your body may respond as we explore something together. I may reflect your own language back to you, ask questions, or invite you to notice what happens internally when we look at an idea from a different angle.

The intention is not to tell you who to be.

It is to help create enough space for you to hear yourself.

Who is Soma Reflection for?

Soma Reflection may be especially supportive if you:

  • feel caught between what you want and what you think you should want

  • are moving through a transition or decision and want greater clarity

  • notice yourself repeatedly doubting or talking yourself out of something that matters to you

  • want to understand the beliefs or assumptions underneath a recurring pattern find that your mind says one thing while your body seems to say another

  • are looking for a thoughtful space to explore purpose, relationships, work, creativity, identity, or the direction of your life

  • value curiosity and self-discovery more than being told what to do

You do not need to arrive with a perfectly formed question. Sometimes we simply begin with “Something here doesn’t feel quite right,” or “I know there’s something I want, but I can’t seem to get clear about it.”

That is enough.

What happens in a session?

Sometimes it comes through realizing that something you believed you had to do isn't actually yours. Sometimes it is simply recognizing, with greater confidence, something you already knew. The goal is not necessarily to leave with every problem solved. It is to leave with a clearer relationship to yourself and what feels true from there.

Each conversation will be somewhat different because the work follows what you bring into the room. We might begin with a question, decision, frustration, desire, or recurring situation. From there, I’ll listen closely and reflect back what I’m hearing. We may explore the language you’re using, question an assumption, notice a contradiction, or pause long enough for you to sense how something actually feels in your body. Sometimes clarity comes through a new perspective.

Reflection, Not Fixing

I don't approach these sessions believing that I know your life better than you do. Soma Reflection isn't about diagnosing you, correcting you, or convincing you to adopt my perspective. It is also not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental-health care. My role is closer to that of a thoughtful mirror: listening carefully, noticing what may be difficult to see while you're standing inside the experience, and asking questions that invite you back into your own awareness. The authority ultimately stays with you.

An Offering in Development

Soma Reflection is an emerging part of my practice.

The work has grown organically from something I have found myself doing naturally for years—listening deeply, noticing patterns in language and belief, and reflecting back the clarity, strength, or possibility I can hear underneath someone's uncertainty.

I'm now giving that work a more intentional form.

As I begin offering Soma Reflection sessions, I’ll continue refining the structure through experience, feedback, and careful attention to what genuinely serves the people I work with.

If you're drawn to this kind of exploration and comfortable participating in an offering that is still taking shape, I would love to work with you.

Come curious.

You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for.

Bring the question, the crossroads, the recurring thought, the thing you can't quite make sense of—or simply the feeling that something in your life wants a little more attention.

We’ll begin there.
