The First of Many

When I was young, not knowing how to manage my emotions or who to talk to about them, I began to write. I could talk to the paper. That began a journey of love and healing for me. Over the years I’ve written several little blogs and poems, most of which belong exactly where they are - the past. But as life handed me a dream and cut the expected method of bringing it to fruition I had to get creative… I decided to compile a book of all the poetry and blogs I felt were deserving of an audience, and posted it for sale. I titled it ‘The First of Many’ because I anticipate writing many other little poetry books. Poetry is like letting my mind and heart meld into the same sweet energy rainbows are made of, or sometimes the energy swamp sludge is made of…lets be real, life is full of all of it!
